Chemically Sensitive People

Do you suffer from chemical sensitivities?

Are you thinking about installing new carpet but can’t stand the thought of the headaches you’ll suffer from the chemical smells? Or maybe you’re moving into a new home and want to eliminate the chemical odours from new home construction.

Medallion Healthy Homes has solutions for people who are sensitive to chemicals used in home building and renovation projects. Concentrations of chemicals are highest in the paints, glues, caulking, adhesives, wall coverings and carpet fabric. There is a period of time of “volatile off-gassing” as the chemicals dry, age and adjust to the indoor heated environment. During this time – several weeks or even months, symptoms can occur.

Chemically sensitive people can experience

  • running nose, sneezing

  • coughing

  • eye irritation

  • headaches

  • breathing difficulties.

To reduce the VOCs (volatile organic compounds) and the symptoms they cause, Medallion Healthy Homes provides a safe, environmentally friendly “ozone treatment” at a reasonable price.

Want to get rid of that “new car smell”?

Or perhaps the used vehicle you just purchased smells of wet dog or cigarette smoke. Medallion also offers VOC treatments for new and used vehicles.

I have to say how extremely impressed my husband and myself are with the Ozone guys and the Ozone treatment done in our home. We had ventilation problems which caused us to have a mould problem. This in turn caused us to be living in a 'sick home' and resulted in our 16 month old son being admitted to hospital in respiratory distress, and asthma as a result. Our son was put on puffers and sent home after 3 days. Shortly after that the Ozone guys came and quickly got our home and mould problem under control.

Thank you again.
Sincerely,
Grace Wilson and Nelson Antoine (and Spencer!!)
